OMG... I have a clock ticking very loudly in me. I'm antsy, grouchy, and emotional plus a ton of different adjectives.
Wonder what clock is ticking... probably not the one that most would think. It's my antsy I gotta do something clock or get outta here clock :)
I haven't done too many house projects lately and man I'm ready to go. Too bad what I want done I can't actually do because it's beyond decorating.
Up first: fix the one of the pillars of our foundation. If we were to ever move again, it's got to be done. Of all the complaints I heard when we tried years ago was the house felt like it was leaning. Well it is, so it's time to get it fixed.
Guess I'm just ready to move on, move past this and everything else. I'm also antsy with my job. I love it and what I do but ugh, it gets to me at time.
Basically, I ready for a change!
Tick, tock, tick, tock... it's time for change :)
This was supposed to be a family blog about the newly Mc5's (We are now 5 people/puppies strong!) written by the 2 people: E-beth and Hoss. But it's becoming more of ramblings of E-beth's head.
Disclaimer: the only thing real in it, is the direct dealings of the family. If from E-beth only listen to the pictures. She ♥ her head and lives in it. Hoss is a journalist and has no fiction bone in his body :)

It's beginning to look a lot like...
I know, it's early but I've been working on Christmas gifts for about two months now with my mom and it has me in the mood. Well somewhat.
Call me strange but I hate cold weather and most things associated with it. Halloween - whatever, Thanksgiving - shouldn't we be thankful at all times why the big production. But Christmas... now I love the commercial side of Christmas. As a believer shouldn't I be celebrating Christ's birth everyday and living it, plus I'm smart enough to know he wasn't born in Dec. so it's just a day.
But ahh, the joys of Christmas. My mother always made Christmas fun. It was about the birth yes but we still enjoyed the fun side of. She always loved giving and making things special and fun. To this day, I still have to go to her house Christmas Eve and spend the night or it's just not Christmas. The past few years though, I hadn't had the spirit. Too much personal drama and Hoss hasn't wanted to celebrate - blame it on getting laid off at Christmas time, we do!
Lately we've been working on the gifts for the families this year. And it's been surprisingly enjoyable. We've been working on homemade soap and candles. I'll have to post pictures later. And it's been interesting to see how two totally different people yet surprisingly similar people work together. I want to just do it by myself and move on, she over analyzes EVERYTHING and has no patience. But it's been a good experience and fun for us. Much better for me than the cake decorating.
Now all Hoss and I have to do is plan for the kiddos. I'm leaning towards only family but he seems to think he's going to purchase for some others, we'll just have to see what our Christmas Club account has to say about that **Shakes head no, not happening because I said so**
I've been quiet lately but so much has happened. Nothing major just peace.
Call it selfish or whatever, but it's been soo nice not to be "catering" to others anymore and their schedules and lives... always making the adjustments and travel arrangements. But that's just me right now :) We've had time to hang out with each other, work steadily, watch tons of TV, play with our wonderfully annoying pups, and hang out with family. Hoss still gets to hang out with some new friends and watch sports, I get to do a lot of reading or playing video games (computer mainly but I do have a 3DS).

I will remember you
Ok totally cheesy but you'll be alright.
I'm running behind on everything including work or so it feels.
So what two weekends ago we had my 10 year reunion. I didn't go to anything with Hoss' so I was stoked that he came to mine (I think he knew I wouldn't go without him). And it was a blast! Hoss was totally the life of the dance! And the family day was fun because of the kiddos and we got to see the new school though not much was different than what I remember when we opened the new school our senior year.
It was interesting though how somethings changed yet remained the same. I'm still me, just married to a nutcase you is way more outgoing. So here are some pics of my nutcase dancing it up. Yes they finally got me out there and I looked stupid... no literally stupid, I just stood there, like I know how to move especially to THAT song! haha!
